My Journey to Afghanistan and back

Hello, I thought I'd write a little blog about me explaining my journey's as I travel into Afghanistan with the US Army to help improve Afghanistan's health system. This is my second deployment while serving in the Navy. My last finished in May 2007 as a ship's doctor on the USS EISENHOWER (a naval aircraft carrier). Hence this is my first deployment as boots on the ground. I'm really looking forward to the adventure and sharing it with you all.
